IR Detectors

IR detectors have been a part of our standard product range at LASER COMPONENTS for almost three decades. A distinction is made between sensors for the near infrared range (NIR) from 1.0 µm to 2.5 µm and those for the mid-infrared range (MIR) above 2.5 µm. IR detectors of all modes of operation are a part of our product portfolio and leave nothing to be desired.

IR diode laser stock list

Our product portfolio contains PbSe diode lasers (leadsalt) as well as QCLs (quantum cascade lasers). They both are available singlemode or multimode.

We specify and characterize our IR diode lasers based on different individual characteristics.

We devide our quantum cascade lasers in singlemode (SPECDILAS-Q, DFB) and multimode (QF-Serie, Ridge wave guide).

The following criterials have been used to specify the lead salt lasers:

Single mode options (IR-XXXX):
GMP: ± 12 cm-1 tolerance
PREMIUM: 0,25 mW guaranteed power
PREMIUMPLUS: 0,5 mW guaranteed power
WM: 3 cm-1 mode length
20dB: SMS <20dB (corresponds >= 99% to mode purity)
Multi mode options (F-XXXX):
GMP: ± 12 cm-1 tolerance
BC: broad coverage (for F-lasers: ±25 cm-1; for FCC-lasers: ±40 cm-1)
PREMIUM: 0,25 mW guaranteed power
PREMIUMPLUS: 1 mW guaranteed power
