Improved delivery times and even greater flexibility were originally the focus of our expansion. The new facilities now also provide us with more space for new equipment, such as:

• additional polishing machines
• an innovative inspection and measurement microscope

This high-quality microscope makes it possible to perform a complete pre-delivery product inspection in terms of eccentricity measurement – fiber core to outer diameter – and documentation of the connector end facet.

New production technology has also played a role; in fact, the first AR coatings of the polished connector end facets have produced excellent results. Our strengths in fiber-optics production are in the following areas: assemblies for medical applications and for high-power transmission as well as series production up to 1,000 pieces.
