New Wavelengths from 1350 nm to 1550 nm

Our exclusive partner, SemiNex Corporation, is one of the leading suppliers of high power laser diodes in the NIR range. In the spectral range from 1470 nm to 1550 nm, SemiNex has developed the most efficient and powerful single emitters available on the market worldwide today!

Based on these chips, a novel, compact laser system is available with an optical output power of up to 25 W in continuous wave (cw) operation. The cooling system that is also available is relatively small and quiet. Without the need for water cooling, it can compensate for a power loss of up to 200 W without a problem. This makes it possible to use the laser system for an extended period of time without worrying that the laser will overheat.

The following versions are available:

• 10, 15, 20, and 25 watt optical cw output power
• 1350 nm, 1450 nm, 1470 nm, 1532 nm, and 1550 nm emitting wavelength

The output power can be coupled into a 375 µm, 400 µm, or 500 µm fiber. A red, 650 nm pilot laser can also be integrated into the system which makes direct use, in particular in medical technology or material processing, possible. Further fields of application include DPSS pump lasers, military applications, and aerospace technology.
