Cooled PbSe Multicolor Sensors

07.02.12

For IR Applications

CAL Sensors expanded the series of multiple channel detectors with filters. The thermoelectrically cooled version MBXT1S-18T-4 was added to the series. Compared to the uncooled version, the sensitivity and performance have been increased. Both versions are available from LASER COMPONENTS.

The detectors are primarily used in gas measurement technology. In the standard version of the PbSe multicolor detector, gas filters are integrated to filter for hydrocarbons (3.34 µm), CO2 (4.26 µm), and CO (4.60 µm). The full width half maximum is 140 nm each. A reference filter at 3.85 µm with a full width half maximum of 200 nm is also integrated.
