The portion of our total turnover that we achieve with in-house products has increased during the current business year. Thanks to several activities in the area of infrared sensors, this trend will continue to grow. The proximity to our customer has taken on a new meaning: we love the opportunity the personal contact affords us to further develop products together.

Following the German-speaking countries and the U.S., the Scandinavian countries have become the third most important sales market for LASER COMPONENTS. We have, therefore, decided to open up a sales branch in the Nordic countries. The newly-founded LASER COMPONENTS Nordic AB, with its office in Gothenburg, has become the new regional contact for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The product portfolio mainly includes products developed and manufactured by the LASER COMPONENTS Group: emphasis here is put on components for IR applications, laser modules, laser optics, pulsed laser diodes, avalanche photodiodes, and fiber optics products. In addition, the portfolio also includes components manufactured by our long-standing suppliers.
