Full Power – Up to 50 mW out of the Fiber

The fiber-coupled single-mode laser diodes by our partner RealLight are an absolute highlight: At an emission wavelength of 660 nm, the components emit an optical power from 5 mW to 50 mW from the fiber.

The real know-how lies in the proper alignment of the 4 µm fiber – it is responsible for obtaining peak power from the optics and electronics.

The laser diode not only features an excellent coupling efficiency, but the long-term stability and beam performance are also remarkable. The robust metal housings of the powerful 50 mW laser diodes feature a thermoelectric cooler, thermistor, and photodiode. Thus, they are ideally suited for applications in medical technology, illumination, and pump lasers.

The end of the fiber can be equipped with an optical FC, ST, or SMA connector according to your specifications.
