In time for the LASER World of PHOTONICS trade fair, LASER COMPONENTS presents a new catalogue of pulsed laser diodes (PLD) and avalanche photodiodes (APD). The latest innovative products include the world’s fastest PLD and APD arrays with several sensor elements embedded into one electronic component.

All the products featured in the catalogue have been developed and produced by LASER COMPONENTS in Canada and the US. In-house development of semiconductor materials and structures allows for low-price components at the highest quality standards.

PLDs and APDs are most commonly used for laser supported distance measurement and "adaptive speed regulation". They are key technologies for automated driving, enabling self-driving cars to detect obstacles with avoidance control.

The new PLD/APD catalogue is available to download on the LASER COMPONENTS website. It is also possible to order a printed version for free.
