MAP - Multiple Application Platform

MAP – MAP is the measuring system developed by VIAVI for industrial and laboratory use. There are different measuring platforms available that vary in their number of connection slots. For these platforms plug-in modules for various measurements are available, such as, for example, light sources, filters, or optical switches.

MAP-220C Compact Modular Chassis

Description

The MAP-220C platform has a more compact housing than the MAP-200 series and can hold up to two modules of standard width. All units support applications in optical signal conditioning and signal distribution with the help of optical switches in automated testing assemblies.

The “LightDirect” modules are also supported by, for example, mOSW optical switches.
