Mechanical Splices
Connect fibers comfortably with ULTRAsplice®
Fiber Connectors
The patented ULTRAsplice® is a high-quality and inexpensive mechanical connecting element for optical fibers that can be very easily installed. It consists of a glass capillary, into which the fibers are inserted, which is filled with a gel containing the appropriate refractive index. The capillary is transparent in order to assist examination of the position of the fiber during installation. With the help of gray lock nuts, the user can maneuver and secure the fiber, making installation very simple. The ULTRAsplice® can be reused and is suited for temporary as well as permanent installations.
