Thermopiles are thermal detectors that detect constant light signals. Broadband-sensitive thermopiles are used in laser power measurement, absolute temperature measurement, and gas analyzers.
Detectors made of lead sulfide (PbS) and lead selenide (PbSe) function as photoresistors that detect radiation in the infrared (IR) spectral range. As a special feature, large surface area detectors up to 10 x 10 mm are available for delivery.
Photoconductive sensors made of mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) still offer the highest possible sensitivity in the middle IR range. A photovoltaic version is available.
IR diodes convert infrared radiation to a photocurrent. InGaAs, extended InGaAs, InAs, InSb, and MCT are all available for delivery.
Powerful IR arrays were developed for applications in NIR spectroscopy. Multiplex arrays made of PbS and PbSe are currently available.
IR modules are available with detectors made of InGaAs, extended InGaAs, InAs, InSb, and MCT. In addition, we also offer thermopile-based temperature sensors.
