Filters for Flow Cytometry
UK46-0850
Flow Cytometry is a popular technique for detecting fluorescence labelled biophysical particles in a fluid stream; this is increasingly being used for diagnosing blood diseases and cancer. Modern flow cytometres can simultaneously measure forward and side scatter data from up to 18 flourophores requiring a large number of detection channels. This, coupled with the rising number of lasers used in modern systems, can pose a problem for ordinary filters.
Our optical interference filters for flow cytometry could be the solution you are looking for.
Designed to work with all major clinical and research instruments, we can provide emission filters optimised both for collection of the desired fluorescent signal and avoidance of channel cross talk. Our dichroic filters have very steep cut on edges to split off fluorescent signals in close spectral proximity while minimising the sensitivity of the polarisation state of the incident energy.
