New IR Emitters

Two new IR emitters (IRE) offer improved performance with high modulation depth and efficiency over the 1-20 µm waveband.

The INTX22-1000 IRE is capable of pulsing up to 200 Hz, with an impressive 99% modulation depth at 10 Hz and 50% at 70 Hz, whilst the INTX08-0300 IRE is capable of even higher 200 Hz operation, with a stunning 100% modulation depth at 10 Hz and 50% at 140 Hz.

These wideband IREs are ideal IR sources for a range of applications including, gas sensors, photo acoustic analysers, MIR ‘beacons’ as well as a range of measurement and calibration equipment.
