960 Photline Technologies has been selected for the European Space Agency SWARM programme whose mission is to provide, from space, the best ever survey of the geomagnetic field. The optical set-up loaded in a satellite to measure the magnetic field incorporates a 1060 nm waveguide phase modulator.
