For applications which call for that extra degree of alignment accuracy, LASER COMPONENTS offer the Flexpoint, LT –Series laser diode module.

Available with either red or green outputs, this precisely bore-sighted laser offers a circular beam profile (not elliptical) and deviates, at a distance of 20 metres, by less than 1mm from the axis of the housing.

Standard modules are offered with an output power of 1 mW, at wavelengths of either 635 nm, 650 nm or 532 nm.

Higher output powers and / or a modulation option, via a third wire, are also available.

Applications include machine alignment, straightness test of carriers and carriages, concentricity test of rotating parts and aiming beams for marking tasks.
