UK35-0380 The quadrant photodiode JQC5R is a monolithic component for high resolution position measurements and tracking applications, within in the 215 nm - 260 nm spectrum. The active material, silicon carbide, is naturally solar blind above 420 nm. The total diameter of the active area is 2.525 mm, and the surface area of each single quadrant is 1.25 mm². The distance between the quadrants is 32 µm, which, compared to the JQC4, has been reduced by a factor of 5. The “R” in the article number refers to the polarity, which has been inverted compared to the previous model.
