The optical amplifier analyzer from EigenLight is an easy-to-use measurement device for testing optical fiber amplifiers. It measures the amplification factor, the input power, the total output power, and the filtered output power. The latter can be selected by the customer with the help of a replaceable selection unit that determines the wavelength and bandwidth. The device has three channels, each with a range of -40 dBm to +8 dBm. The measured values for each channel are displayed on an LCD, either as absolute or relative power. These values can be transmitted to other devices via a GPIB, an RS232, or an RS485 interface.
