Laser / Detector Modules
Bidirectional optical communication with laser and detector in one housing.
PD-LD’s PW series transceivers combine an optical transmitter and an optical receiver both in the same housing. They are available in 850 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm wavelengths. It is possible to either send and receive with the same wavelength or to send with one wavelength and detect with another.
LEDs are used as transmitters, and InGaAs PIN photodiodes as low-noise receivers. With an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C, these modules are suited for all industrial applications, such as video data transmission or bidirectional WDM systems with a single fiber.
