New colorPol® IR 1550 Products!

CODIXX introduces a new version to the popular colorPol® HT (High Transmission) family. The colorPol® IR 1550 BC4 T5 is now offered with 0.5 mm thickness in addition to the current family of 0.2 mm thickness polarizers. The new size offers higher mechanical stability and is compatible with existing form factors. The change in form does not change the extraordinary performance. The colorPol® IR1550 BC4 T5 extinction ratio exceeds 40 dB (10,000:1) and the insertion loss sinks below 0.1 dB.
The colorPol® HT polarizer family have been developed for telecommunication applications. The filters offer unique transmittance properties of >98% (with AR coating) and high contrast in the spectral ranges of 1280 - 1450 nm and 1480 - 1650 nm.
Combined with the well known properties of all colorPol® products like the high operating temperature range of -50 °C up to +400 °C, their resistance against UV radiation and extreme climate conditions permits their use under various conditions and in sophisticated applications.
CODIXX offers the colorPol® IR 1550 BC4 T5 in round, rectangular, and custom dimensions. Sizes range from 1 x 1 mm² to 100 x 60 mm². Standard mounted options include 12.5, 12.7 (½"), 25.0 and 25.4 (1") mm diameters.
