A unique feature of colorPol^® polarizer is the chance to produce patterned polarizers with different directions of polarization and different spectral characteristics.

Based on the special properties of the colorPol^®polarizers CODIXX can produce polarizers with patterns of neighboring areas with a different orientation of the polarization and/or wavelength of maximum polarization (color in the VIS range). The dimension of the areas can be scaled down to the 10 micron range. Be it circles, rectangles, strokes or lines - the only limitation is given by maximum substrate dimension of 30 x 30 mm² currently.
