Universal Geniuses for Optical Fiber Polishes

ULTRA TEC’s optical fiber polishers are an ideal tool for small series, prototypes, and retropolishing. Standard connector types in telecommunications, such as SC, LC, FC, E2000, and ST, for example, can be equipped with a PC or APC polish; an SMA connector can be ground flat. Further features include the polishing of bare fibers and the post processing of optical fibers and optical fiber surfaces that have been used and slightly damaged.

Minipol. Inexpensive minipol polishers are small, lightweight, and can be battery operated on an optional basis; they can be used in the field and are ideal for standard telecom and related fibers!

Nanopol. Universally applicable, this polisher makes it possible to polish fibers, including large diameter fibers (LDFs), at almost any angle. For this purpose, they are equipped with an adjustable arm mount and an additional height control.

We offer interferometers and microscopes to test the surface quality of the fiber after polishing.
