With its new generation of ROGUE™ measurement devices, AFL is introducing a hardware platform onto the market that collaborates directly with the new cloud-based software tool aeRos™. The key feature is the separation of the ROGUE™ hardware from the aeRos software.
Measurement tasks can be performed locally and saved in the cloud. The on-site technician uses his terminal device to retrieve the information and transfer it via Bluetooth or WiFi directly from the handheld device to the ROGUE™. Vice versa, the measurement results go from the ROGUE™ directly into the cloud.
The user is in a position to select the respective functions required for his tasks. Just like aeRos™, ROGUE™ is an open system that can be adapted at any time to different applications to ensure the most effective operation possible to save time and money.
The core of the ROGUE™ product group is a base unit in which different modules can be used for different measurements.
The robust design of the ROGUE™ base unit makes application in the field possible, even for the most difficult measurement tasks. It is very light and offers flexible handling thanks to the various ways in which to carry and mount this device. The base has an interface to connect video microscopes in order to inspect connectors, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity; it can be operated either stand-alone or in combination with any Android or iOS device.
