This includes the stripping of fiber claddings, the cleaning and cleaving of fibers, and splicing or polishing, depending on the application. Microscopes and/or interferometers are used in the analysis of fiber end surfaces.
We have tools available for all stages of processing, both for field applications and applications in the laboratory. We cover the entire range of fiber diameters to 1.2 mm.
Ultrasonic fiber cleaner specifically designed for fiber splicing applications.
To reliably clean fibers after stripping, we offer an ultrasonic cleaning unit by 3SAE. This tabletop unit was developed for fiber splicing applications; it is indispensable for high-strength splicing!
To insert the fibers, this device is equipped with a rail-guide system that can hold a number of standard fiber mounts. To clean the fibers, it is only necessary to attach the fiber mount. The cleaning process begins by pressing the start button. The cleaning process is over when the visual and acoustic signals go off. The fiber can then be removed.
The intensity of cleaning can be adjusted according to the type and size of the fiber. Special applications have recommended settings.
