Fiber Assemblies from LASER COMPONENTS

We live for customer-specific solutions! We have invested heavily to be able to assemble your desired fiber.

The new fiber cleaver makes it possible to produce highly precise cleaves at the fiber tips – automatically and thus reproducibly. The angle to the optical axis of the fiber can be adjusted between 0° and 15°.

Both the quality of the connectors and their polishing have been improved: New techniques and tools for assembly have brought on technological advancement. In the eccentricity of the fiber core to the outer diameter, we can now achieve values of < 10 µm. These values and the polishing are checked for accuracy and scratches and impurities, respectively, using a digital measurement microscope. Saving the measurement data helps in the precise traceability of your fiber assemblies, so that you know what you hold in your hand.

Fiber arrays. The demand for fiber arrays continues to increase. They are used, for example, as cross-section converters. For this purpose, single-layer or multi-layer line arrays with up to 50 fibers are converted into a round fiber bundle. We will mount the arrays in a customer-specific round or rectangular connector.
