QuantaMAXTM – Advanced Filter Technology

The range of filter products at LASER COMPONENTS comprises single and multi-bandpass filters, short and long-pass filters, beam splitters, attenuation filters, and band-stop filters. These filters cover the wavelength range from 180 nm to 20 µm. In addition to a selection of standard filters, we also traditionally offer customer-specific filters or develop filters for specific applications.
Based on over 40 years of experience in the design and production of optical filters, our partner, Omega Optical, Inc., developed the QuantaMAXTM series filters. This series is based technically on dual magnetron reactive sputtering (DMRS) with optical monitoring. QuantaMAXTM series filters are generally hard coated on single substrates, have steep edges, a high transmission rate, and high imaging quality. In applications, this manifests itself in a high signal-to-noise ratio – not only due to the high transmission rate but also the sideband suppression – as well as in a high reproducibility. QuantaMAXTM filters are currently available as fluorescence filter sets, single and multi-bandpass filters, beam splitters, and long-pass filters in the Vis and NIR range.
