No Bandwidth without Fiber
On 7 December 2017, LASER COMPONENTS will put a spotlight on fiber optic technologies. At the company’s first Symposium on Fiber Optics, renowned experts are going to discuss recent trends and developments in this technology and its diverse field of applications.
“Bandwidth is the driving force behind any progress in data transfer”, says Dr Andreas Hornsteiner, Head of Business Unit Fiber Optics at LASER COMPONENTS and host of the symposium. “Groundbreaking technologies such as SmartHomes or autonomous cars require high data throughput rates and it is hard to imagine today’s communication networks without their backbone of fiber optical connections and EDPCs. I think these developments will provide enough food for discussion to grant everybody a fruitful and diverting symposium.”
