Polarization Diversity Detector PDD

Detector for the measurement of the optical power of orthogonal polarization parts.

Two PDD modules available

Polarization diversity detectors (PDDs) combine polarization beam splitters with optical detectors to simultaneously measure the optical power of orthogonal polarization states. These components are available in different versions, the smallest PDD of which comes in a TO housing.
