Additional components for the expansion of a laser system: Here you will find beam expanders, z-axes, and beam tubes.
Several types of adapters, mounts, and clamps connect the individual beam delivery components from the laser bezel down to the workpiece. Laser beam protection tubing provide a save method to contain the beam while sealing and keeping the optics of the delivery system clean. Telescopic beam tubes are used in conjunction with motion systems where the beam tube length needs to vary.
BEC series components are used to change the laser beam diameter. The robust mechanics are designed for industrial use. The constant overall length of these components is particularly advantageous when adjusting the divergence correction.
So-called CPUs are used if the linearly polarized laser light is converted to a circularly polarized beam.
Circular polarizing units are suited for CO2 lasers and include all mirrors. Silicon mirrors are used here. For adequate cooling, water hook-ups are integrated!
The so-called z-axis is used to focus the laser beam on the workpiece as easily as possible. The adjustable linear unit is assembled on the laser head. Finely adjusting the focal point is done using a micrometer unit that is easy to operate manually. An adjustment accuracy of 0.025 mm can be achieved with this unit!
To simply rotate the polarization direction of a laser beam in laser material processing, rotational mount are offered which can simply be attached to other units.
A retardation plate, for example, is inserted into the plug-in holder and can then be rotated by hand. In combination with the G1 laser head unit, circularly polarized light can be selected which leads to particularly good cutting results in laser material processing. Of course, other optics can be inserted into the POL-15 as well – a cylindrical lens, for example, which will shape a round laser beam into a line.
