Laser Sources / Systems

Here you will find ready-to use diode laser systems. The lasers stand out due to low operating current, precise optical power control, simple driver design, and high lifetime. The diode laser systems are available with different powers; the wavelength ranges from red to NIR.

Wavelength Stabilized Laser Source

Raman Boxx Orange SLM 632

The laser wavelength is stabilized by a volume bragg grating (VBG) to +/- 0.2 nm to render it virtually temperature independent.

With its LuxxMaster™ Raman Source PD-LD offers high quality, stable laser sources for Raman spectroscopy and other applications. This product is an enhancement of the innovative volume bragg grating, which was awarded the "Circle of Excellence” by the American Photonics Spectra magazine.

The NovaTru™ Chroma range of wavelength stabilized laser modules (LML, SLM, LS series) utilize a high performance volume Bragg grating (VBG™) to enable excellent wavelength stability (± 0.5 nm), which is virtually temperature independent (typically 0.01 nm/°C).

The NovaTru™ Chroma 633 SLM is the perfect drop-in replacement for HeNe lasers, offering up to 50 mW of stable power at 632.8 nm. A variety of other wavelengths are available making these compact module sources ideal for applications such as flow cytometry, semiconductor processing, fluorescence excitation and more. Various fiber coupled and free space output options are available, as are collimated lenses, which can supply TEM00 Gaussian beam profile if desired. The operating voltage is only 5 V and a modulation of up to 100 kHz can be achieved.

The laser wavelength is stabilized by a volume bragg grating (VBG) to ± 0.5 nm to render it virtually temperature independent (typically 0.01 nm/°C). At the same time, the FWHM value is reduced to <0.1 nm. The fiber-coupled, 785 nm laser source is equipped with a driver. The operating voltage is only 5 V and a modulation of up to 100 kHz can be achieved. The optical output power out of the 100-µm multi-mode fiber is typically 500 mW.

As an inexpensive alternative, PD-LD has introduced a OEM laser diode for spectroscopy and sensor applications. The LML-784.5T5 delivers a collimated, stabilized laser beam. The laser wavelength is stabilized with an accuracy of +/ 0.5 nm using a volume Bragg grating (VBG) and thus barely depends on the temperature anymore. At the same time, the FWHM value is reduced to < 0.5 nm.
