Active & Passive Components

Couplers, WDMs, attenuators, isolators, and circulators are passive optical components. In addition to these parts, we also offer active components such as optical switches.

High-Power Optical Fibre Amplifiers

High-power optical fibre amplifiers for optical solutions at 1 µm, 1.5 µm, and 2 µm - available for continuous wave (CW) as well as pulsed laser amplification.

These high-power optical fibre amplifiers offer both low noise figures and high gain. For optical solutions at 1 µm, 1.5 µm, and 2 µm, they are available for continuous wave (CW) as well as pulsed laser amplification. They are designed to amplify very narrow linewidths (kHz) or high-data rate communications with low impairments and deliver output power levels well above 15 W.

The MAKO Fibre Amplifier Series is all about efficiency. At 97×78×15 mm, its compact all-fibre OEM units are designed with size-critical applications in mind. It offers low noise and high saturation power (1W) and is available in both standard and polarisation-maintaining versions for narrow-linewidth lasers (<100 kHz). The integrated RS232 interface ensures seamless integration into end-user systems.

The SKYLINE Fibre Amplifier Series is built for high-power applications and delivers output powers above 15 W, while at the same time providing low noise and high gain. Its rugged, energy-efficient and compact OEM design (200×150×43 mm) includes both RS232 and USB interfaces. All products of the SKYLINE series are customizable for your signal needs, and support standard and PM versions for continuous wave or pulsed applications.

CYBEL BENCHTOP is a turnkey device offering the exceptionally stable and reliable performance required in manufacturing and R&D applications. The front panel of this user-friendly instrument features an analogue interface as well as a high-definition LCD display that allows users to keep track of all the different control parametres and continuously adjust the output power according to application needs. The same level of control can be realised by external control devices connected to the integrated USB interface.
