Our lens systems include objectives for beam expansion, F-Theta lenses (i.e., scan lenses or lens systems for use in galvo systems), and achromatic lens systems.
Achromatic systems for broadband imaging optics in the visible spectral range.
Achromatic lens systems consist of two lenses with different indexes of refraction which are cemented together. The chromatic aberration is corrected by the combination of crown glass and flint glass. Due to the cementing the lenses can only be used in lasers with low intensities.
Achromatic systems are used for broadband imaging optics in the visible spectral range when a small spot size is required for a wavelength range.
In order to avoid losses, all of the lenses in the system can be equipped with the appropriate broadband coating.
