We offer tools for a large variety of different types of fibre processing:

This includes the stripping of fibre claddings, the cleaning and cleaving of fibres, and splicing or polishing, depending on the application. Microscopes and/or interferometres are used in the analysis of fibre end surfaces.

We have tools available for all stages of processing, both for field applications and applications in the laboratory. We cover the entire range of fibre diametres to 1.2 mm.

Fibre Strippers

Safely remove the buffer from the fibres! Our product range includes sterilizable strippers for medical applications as well as variants for telecom and large core fibres.

Stripping Tools for Optical Fibres

In order to safely remove the buffer from optical fibres, fibre strippers are required. LASER COMPONENTS offers the correct strippers for all common fibres.

Sterilizable fibre strippers are available for medical technology under the MediStrip brand name.

Sterilizable Fibre Removal Tool for Medical Technologies

MediStrip - developed for medical applications

When used repeatedly under sterile conditions, MediStrip offers a real cost saving potential: even after more than 100 sterilizations in an autoclave this fibre stripper still works perfectly. The tool is available for all common fibre types with core diametres of 200 - 800 µm. To identify different fibre types, different colored actuating handles are used.
