So-called polarization rotators can be used to rotate the polarization. These components are particularly easy to handle. The rotation of polarization occurs reliably regardless of the orientation of the component with respect to the laser beam. Therefore, an alignment along the optical axis is not necessary.
At an angle of incidence of 0° of the incident beam, the polarization of the central wavelength is rotated either by 45° or 90°. The desired rotation should be indicated.
