To insert the fibres, this device is equipped with a rail-guide system that can hold a number of standard fibre mounts. To clean the fibres, it is only necessary to attach the fibre mount. The cleaning process begins by pressing the start button. The cleaning process is over when the visual and acoustic signals go off. The fibre can then be removed.

The intensity of cleaning can be adjusted according to the type and size of the fibre. Special applications have recommended settings.
