We offer tools for a large variety of different types of fibre processing:
This includes the stripping of fibre claddings, the cleaning and cleaving of fibres, and splicing or polishing, depending on the application. Microscopes and/or interferometers are used in the analysis of fibre end surfaces.
We have tools available for all stages of processing, both for field applications and applications in the laboratory. We cover the entire range of fibre diameters to 1.2 mm.
Ultrasonic fibre cleaner specifically designed for fibre splicing applications.
To reliably clean fibres after stripping, we offer an ultrasonic cleaning unit by 3SAE. This tabletop unit was developed for fibre splicing applications; it is indispensable for high-strength splicing!
To insert the fibres, this device is equipped with a rail-guide system that can hold a number of standard fibre mounts. To clean the fibres, it is only necessary to attach the fibre mount. The cleaning process begins by pressing the start button. The cleaning process is over when the visual and acoustic signals go off. The fibre can then be removed.
The intensity of cleaning can be adjusted according to the type and size of the fibre. Special applications have recommended settings.
