Coating Material no Longer Available

Since the coating material used so far is no longer available, LASER COMPONENTS is forced to cancel production of its LDT-007, LDT-007B and LDT-1064M conversion screens with immediate effect. The company recommends to use its LDT-008TL conversion screen or the products of its Visualize series as substitutes for LDT-007 and LDT-007B. Instead of ­LDT-1064M, customers may use LDT-1064C or LDT-1064BG.

“We are determined to offer only the highest product quality. Therefore, we had no other choice than suspending production of these conversion screens for the time being”, says Jochen Maier, Head of Business Unit Opto Systems at Laser Components. “It goes without saying that our product specialists can provide our customers with the right ­substitute for their respective applications. Our R&D team is already working on new conversion screens with larger active areas. Naturally, we will inform our customers as soon as these new products are ready for distribution.”

Conversion screens are used to convert invisible laser radiation to the visible spectrum.
