CODIXX brings a new 1200 nm to 2.5 µm AR coating to expand its wide range of colorPol® polarizers. CODIXX already offers a wide range of specially coated colorPol® polarizers for nearly any wavelength in the UV, VIS, or IR-range. Since the successful introduction of the colorPol® polarizers, CODIXX continuous development activities in close customer collaboration have led to a variety of performance improvements.
colorPol® polarizers are available for nearly any application and offer unique transmittance properties of > 98% (with AR coating) and high contrast ratios of > 1,000,000:1. Codixx offers custom shapes and dimensions from 1x1 mm² to 100 x 60 mm². Standard mounted options include 12.5, 12.7 (½"), 25.0 and 25.4 (1") mm diameters. Different types of laminated versions are offered with improved mechanical and optical properties including wavefront distortion < l/4 and beam-deviation < 1 arcmin.
Due to the unique halide free colorPol® technology with embedded prolate silver nano particles in soda-lime glass, colorPol® polarizers have polarization properties in the UV (340 - 420 nm), the visible and infrared range (430 - 5,000 nm).
High temperature stability up to + 400 °C, durability in harsh environmental conditions, resistance to most chemicals and UV radiation as well as the easy handling are the basis for the versatility and multitude of applications of colorPol® polarizers. Beside the basic products, CODIXX offers an array of variations with properties adapted to application requirements.
With the enhancement of the new broadband coated colorPol® HT polarizer family by the CW06 coating CODIXX is doing another important step offering new solutions for existing applications and future developments in polarizing optics.
