In the world of fibers, there are at least as many connector types as fiber types and core diameters. The core diameters of fibers in sensor and measurement technology range from 50 μm to 1500 μm. At LASER COMPONENTS you will find the right connector for each of them. We have all common connector systems in different bore sizes in stock and also manufacture ferrules and sleeves according to your specifications.

D80 Connectors

D80 connectors are used wherever high laser power is required.

Description

Heat dissipation plays a crucial role in the coupling of high power. D80 connectors are equipped with copper ferrules that have good conductivity and a cooling element. Of course, LASER COMPONENTS also offers connectors in a Modestrip version.

These connectors are available with or without a positioning nose and are fully compatible with the current Mitsubishi LD-80 connectors. The outer diameter of the ferrule is 4.0 mm.
