Free-of-charge Workshops
LASER World of PHOTONICS
LASER COMPONENTS offers three free-of-charge workshops on the first day of the show LASER World of PHOTONICS in Munich:
In-line M2 Measurement of Laser Beams. M2 describes the beam quality of your laser: The closer the beam profile is to an ideal Gaussian profile, the better. Haas Technologies will not only be introducing how thermal lenses and the M2 value of the laser can be measured during operation of the BWA-MON, but they will be sharing insider information as well.
(x-)InGaAs Line Arrays. LASER COMPONENTS and Xenics present new (x-)InGaAs line arrays: they are superfast and flexible or have an extended spectral range of up to 2.6 µm. These components are perfectly suited for optical coherence tomography (OCT) and other applications, for example in spectroscopy. The fastest versions can measure 400,000 spectra per second – as opposed to just 10,000, which was previously the case!
Measuring Ultrashort Laser Pulses. Coherent Solutions, a company based in New Zealand, is a leading specialist in coherent detection, pulse measurement technology, and modular fiber-optic laboratory measurement systems. The target audience for this presentation is manufacturers and users of seed and short pulsed lasers. With the measurement devices introduced, C-band femtosecond and picosecond pulsed fiber lasers can also be measured.
Seats are limited and require, therefore, a reservation.
