The CS4052003x, which was designed for applications in optical storage, utilizes crystal growth technology, which was originally developed for infrared, red, and blue laser diodes with low power.
The newly developed laser chip has a specially designed structure and a high cw power level of 200 mW for the highest recording speed possible. In addition, this component has an extremely long operating lifespan of 10,000 hours. It comes in a standard TO housing with a diameter of 3.8 mm and is suited for operating temperatures of up to +80°C.
Less powerful versions with an optical output power of 20 mW - 85 mW and 405 nm - 450 nm are also available.
