On the outside, AFL’s new FOCIS WiFi2 connector microscope resembles a screwdriver. But this simple, ergonomically-designed inspection system can do much more. Lightweight and completely wireless, it can be operated from any iOS or Android mobile device and provides fast and accurate pass/fail analysis for all major industry standards (IEC, IPC, AT&T). The corresponding apps are available for free download.
The focus of the microscope can be set either manually or automatically at the touch of a button. After recording, the image is automatically centered for analysis. The technician can quickly perform a pass/fail analysis at the touch of a button. The result is immediately displayed via the multi-colored LED.
A wide range of adapter tips is available for the FOCIS WiFi2 – as well as for MPO/MTP multi-fiber connectors.
