Green Laser for Raman Spectroscopy
530 nm Raman BoxxTM with Volume Bragg Grating
D66-084
With the GB-530 green laser, PD-LD introduced a high-quality wavelength-stabilized laser source to be used, in particular, in Raman spectroscopy. This new product is based on further development of the promising volume Bragg grating technology.
Numerous well-known laser manufacturers already use this technology successfully to stabilize the laser wavelength, which is suited for different spectroscopic applications.
What Makes These Lasers so Special
The volume Bragg grating allows the laser wavelength to be stabilized as accurately as +0.5 nm; thus for the most part, the wavelength does not depend on the temperature. At the same time, the optical full width half maximum is reduced to <0.003 nm.
Features of the GB-530
The fiber-coupled 530 nm laser source is equipped with an integrated driver, TE cooler, and a monitor diode; it is optimally suited as an inexpensive light source for Raman spectroscopy.
The new compact housing facilitates optimal heat conduction. The Raman BoxxTM can be operated in cw mode as well as modulated up to 100 kHz. The optical output power out of a single-mode fiber is >40 mW at a long-term power stability of <2%.
