Measuring Ultra-Short Pulses with IQFROG
Wide Measuring Range for Short Pulses
Based on the principle of frequency-resolved optical gating (SHG autocorrelator), the IQFROG can be used to measure the intensity and phase of laser pulses in both spectral and temporal domains. Using this method, it is able to resolve sub-picosecond pulses since it is not limited by the response time of the detector.
Thanks to its long delay arm and high-resolution spectrometer, the IQFROG is able to measure chirped pulses with widths up to 50 ps and thus covers a wide measuring range from femtosecond to picosecond pulses.
The device is available in 1.0 µm and 1.5 µm wavelengths. The 1 µm version is an ideal tool for the measurement of SEED laser pulses for chirped pulse amplification (CPA) at 1 µm, while the version at 1.5 µm is best for C band femtosecond and picosecond lasers.
Coherent Solutions is a New Zealand based company specializing in coherent detection, pulse measuring, and modular measuring equipment for fiber optics laboratories. In Germany and the UK, its products are exclusively distributed by LASER COMPONENTS.
