Measuring Ultrashort Laser Pulses with iQFROG from Coherent Solutions
D81-108
The IQFROG is based on the principle of the frequency-resolved optical gating method (SHG automated correlator) and measures the pulse intensity and phase of the laser pulses – both in the spectral and temporal domains. This makes it possible to completely characterize a short pulse.
Even extremely short sub-picosecond pulses can be resolved because the method is not restricted by the response time of the detector.
With its long delay arm and highly-resolved spectrometer, the IQFROG can measure chirped pulses that are up to 50 ps wide – or up to 10 ps with transformation restrictions: This covers a large measurement range from fs pulses to ps pulses.
The IQFROG is available for the wavelengths 1.0 µm and 1.5 µm. The 1.0 µm version is an ideal measurement device for SEED laser pulses for chirped pulse amplification (CPA); the 1.5 µm version is ideal for C band based femtosecond and picosecond lasers.
Measuring devices from Coherent Solutions are now also available at LASER COMPONENTS. As a leading specialist in coherent detection, pulse measurement technology, and modular fiber-optic laboratory measurement systems, Coherent Solutions – a company based in New Zealand – will introduce its laser pulse measuring device IQFROG at the LASER World of PHOTONICS.
