Reference cables are used for measuring fiber assemblies and connectors in standard production.
Our reference cables are equipped with interferometrically tested master connectors (reference connector). Compared to connectors from standard production, these master connectors require a significantly higher level of quality. Their optical properties correspond to the EN 50377-X-Y standard. They have a very low values for insertion loss, fiber core eccentricity, and pole offset. Reference cables are made in a special process and their manufacturing requires a great deal of know-how and experience.
Our range of available reference cables is very large and offers a variety of different versions and combinations with master connectors as well as standard connectors. Standard reference cables come with a cable length of 3 m. They are available in single-mode and multi-mode versions.
