History
Laser Components has owned a part of the French company Optophotonics since 1996. In February of 2007, Laser Components bought up all shares in the company and renamed it Laser Components S.A.S. At the same time, the company relocated to Meudon, which is south of Paris, and Christian Merry took over as managing director.
In addition to products manufactured in house, trade goods from selected premium suppliers are available that are exclusively sold on the French market.
