Laser modules have to fulfill special requirements in industrial image processing. Line lasers with a homogeneous power distribution are generally used in metrology, but high-power laser designs and special housings are also in demand in industrial image processing.

Homogeneous line all around - robust ring laser module without moving parts.

Homogeneous 360° Line

Without the use of rotating parts, FLEXPOINT^® Radial generates a 360° line (660 nm) that is emitted at a right angle to the module and can be projected onto the inside of pipes or ducts. This allows for high-precision measurement of the pipe geometry. Surface irregularities can be detected with an accuracy of 50 μm.

With a diameter of 11.5 mm and a length of 80 mm, the laser module is suitable for almost any pipe diameters.
