PbS and PbSe Detectors

Detectors made of lead sulfide (PbS) and lead selenide (PbSe) function as photoresistors that detect radiation in the infrared (IR) spectral range. As a special feature, large surface area detectors up to 10 x 10 mm are available for delivery.

PbSe 1 - 5 µm

Polycrystalline PbS is a standard semiconductor detector. During a product range overhaul in 2000, the properties were significantly improved.

PbS 1 - 3,3 µm

Polycrystalline PbS is a traditional IR detector of high quality. PbS acts as a photoresistor.
