Laser Diodes

Continuously-emitting cw laser diodes are available in a wide range of wavelengths, from infrared to red, green, or blue.

Pulsed laser diodes (PLDs) are available in the wavelengths 905 nm and 1550 nm. All of our PLDs are developed and manufactured at LC. Customer-specific requests can be accommodated.

Our range of high-power laser diode products continues to increase. We offer both free-beam designs and fiber-coupled high-power laser diodes. Laser diodes with fiber Bragg gratings are also available.

Vertical cavity surface emitting lasers are inexpensive lasers with low power consumption. They are used in absorption spectroscopy, optical PC mouse applications, and data transmission.

Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are well-known mass-produced components. Special LEDs have been designed for use in the medical field or fiber-optical data transmission.

We offer drive electronics for the easy operation of all types of laser diodes. Collimators made of glass or plastic are used to produce the most precise beam profile possible from the emitting laser diode.
