High-speed voltage amplifier with exceptional gain flatness for 10 μV to 100 mV
The dependence of the gain setting with the bandwidth is minimised allowing rise/fall times to remain constant across the gain settings.
The bandwidth of simple amplifiers usually decreases with increasing gain. Therefore the rise time of pulses and fast signals will vary with the selected gain setting when measured with such amplifiers. This complicates exact and reliable time-resolved measurements. FEMTO has addressed this issue with a special design concept. As a result the DHPVA amplifier was born. The dependence of the gain setting with the bandwidth is minimised allowing rise/fall times to remain constant with ± 10 % maximum deviation across the full gain range.
Applications include Photomultiplier amplifier, Oscilloscope and Transient Recorder, Preamplifier signal booster for optical receivers and current amplifiers, Time-Resolved Pulse and Transient Measurements, Automated Measurement Systems, micro-channel plate (MCP) amplifier.
