Laser beam directing components direct or deliver the laser beam to the workpiece.
A laser beam delivery system is designed to safely deliver the laser beam to the workpiece with precision, accuracy, and stability in an industrial environment.
The kinematic laser beam benders provide a 90° beam displacement. They permit a solid, repeatable orthogonal adjustments of ± 2°. They are designed to hold the mirror distortion-free and provide an option of internal-cooling for high-power lasers.
The kinematic laser beam splitters provide a 90° angular beam displacement of reflected beam with minimal lateral beam displacement of transmitted beams.
Beam switching units provide a method of sharing the same laser beam between two or more processing systems. They are designed to accurately and repeatedly switch or redirect the laser beam using mirrors.
They contain an internal beam bender mounted on precision linear bearings and can be translated in and out of the beam path.
Laser mirrors and beam splitters, the material and coating of which are designed to meet the required laser wavelength and power levels, are used as optics. These optics can be disassembled for cleaning or replacing.
All units can be optically adjusted independently by ±2° in an orthogonal manner using adjusting screws with extremely fine screw threads. Components with varying diametres from 1" to 4" can be used here. These components can be mounted on the top or on the side. They are sealed and consist of anodized aluminum. They can also be equipped with hook-ups for internal water cooling and/or for adjustment purposes.
