Multiband pass filters transmit multiple defined wavelength ranges and block all other parts of the spectrum.
Multiband pass filters can be designed with up to ten bandpass ranges according to customer requirements. This allows for simultaneous observation of several wavelength ranges with a single filter optic - for example in fluorescence applications.
Among other things, these optical filters are characterized by high blockings between the passbands. They achieve typical optical densities >OD 8 by Design and at the same time offer a high transmittance of up to >98% as well as steep slopes.
